BUILDING A DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE WORKFORCE

 

We’re working towards gender equality as part of our commitment to make the construction industry more diverse and inclusive. In 2018, we implemented our Gender Diversity Action Plan and formed a dedicated D&I Council as well as colleague-led diversity sub-committees to help us achieve our target of:

– 50/50 gender balance among our staff by 2033

We’re already taking steps to create a gender-balanced organization today and are proud of the progress we’ve made.

In July 2018, we launched an industry-leading parental leave policy, providing every SCECO employee with access to one month of parental leave on full pay. Parents who adopt or welcome a baby via surrogacy are also entitled to leave. Our commitment to equal parenting will enable us to create better gender balance and shape an organization that attracts, supports, and retains the most talented people.
